Orders & Returns
Please check all goods received as soon as possible, and report and damages or errors to us within three working days. We will accept unfitted products ordered through our website, for either a refund or an exchange, provided:
- The request is made in writing within 14 working days of receipt by either email or by filling in our online returns form
- All goods are in their original boxes, which have not been defaced in anyway
- Return shipping costs for non-faulty goods are to be paid by the customer
- All returned items must be packaged in an outer box
- A proof of purchase will be required
Items bought from our website will not include light bulbs unless stated in the product description. There is a delivery charge of £10.00 to mainland UK addresses on orders under £250, orders between £250 and £300 are charged at £8.00, all orders over £350 are charged at £6.00. All areas outside of the mainland UK will incur extra delivery charges. The carrier we use is DPD Local. Delivery is normally made between the hours of 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. You will need to sign for your delivery unless you have specified special delivery instructions on your order. When your order arrives please check for any damages or shortages. We can ship to other locations not listed on our website, please contact us for a shipping quote.
All our prices include VAT at 20%. Goods are normally despatched within 5 working days of receipt of your order. If for any reason the goods you have ordered are out of stock a member of our staff will contact you with revised delivery details as soon as is possible.
Using the shopping basket
To Order from The Lite Spot web site simply add the items you want to your shopping basket by clicking the link on the product detail page.
To see the items already added to the basket simply click on the 'view' shopping basket link at the right hand side of the page.
Item quantities can be changed or deleted at any time.
When you are ready to place your order click the 'check out' link in the basket. If you are a new customer follow the links in the checkout section to fill in your delivery details.
Returning customers may simply provide their e-mail and password and the delivery details will be filled in automatically.
Once you are happy with your order and delivery details, you can fill in the payment section and confirm your order.
All transactions taking place on our website do so through either our secure Worldpay gateway or Paypal.
We accept all major credit cards and debit cards, including American Express. You can also pay using PayPal.
Your right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel the contract with Lite Spot at any time up to the end of 14 working days after you receive the goods. A working day is any day other than weekends and bank or other public holidays.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to Lite Spot by emailing email@example.com, giving details of the goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery address.
If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to Lite Spot at your own cost and risk. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit. The goods must be returned to Lite Spot in resaleable condition.
If you cancel your contract but Lite Spot has already processed the goods for delivery you must not unpack the goods when they are received by you and you must send the goods back to us at your own cost and risk as soon as possible.
Once you have notified Lite Spot that you are cancelling the contract, Lite Spot will refund or recredit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.
If you do not return the goods as required, Lite Spot may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods. Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on The Lite Spot website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, Lite Spot will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order. If you cancel, Lite Spot will refund or recredit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.
