Using the shopping basket

To Order from The Lite Spot web site simply add the items you want to your shopping basket by clicking the link on the product detail page.

To see the items already added to the basket simply click on the 'view' shopping basket link at the right hand side of the page.

Item quantities can be changed or deleted at any time.
When you are ready to place your order click the 'check out' link in the basket. If you are a new customer follow the links in the checkout section to fill in your delivery details.

Returning customers may simply provide their e-mail and password and the delivery details will be filled in automatically.

Once you are happy with your order and delivery details, you can fill in the payment section and confirm your order.


All items bought from our website comes complete with all the required standard light bulbs. There is a delivery charge of £7.95 to mainland UK, all areas outside of the mainland UK will incur extra delivery charges. The carrier we use is DPD Local. Delivery is normally made between the hours of 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday. You will need to sign for your delivery unless you have specified special delivery instructions on your order. When your order arrives please check for any damages or shortages. Claims for damages or shortages must be made within 7 days of reciept of the order.

All orders to UK mainland over £49.00 will qualify for free delivery.

All our prices include VAT at the current rate. Goods are normally despatched within 5 working days of receipt of your order. If for any reason the goods you have ordered are out of stock a member of our staff will contact you with revised delivery details.

All transactions taking place on our website do so through our secure HSBC gateway.

Your right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel the contract with Lite Spot at any time up to the end of seven working days after you receive the goods . A working day is any day other than weekends and bank or other public holidays.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to Lite Spot by hand or post, fax or email, at the address, fax number or email address shown below, giving details of the goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery.
If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to Lite Spot at your own cost and risk. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit. The goods must be returned to Lite Spot in resaleable condition.
If you cancel your contract but Lite Spot has already processed the goods for delivery you must not unpack the goods when they are received by you and you must send the goods back to us at your own cost and risk as soon as possible.
Once you have notified Lite Spot that you are cancelling the contract, Lite Spot will refund or recredit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.
If you do not return the goods as required, Lite Spot may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods.
